Can I add pictures to my custom car show sign?
Yes but in moderation. A few small and well placed photos can be a nice addition to your sign, but I avoid the use of multiple images. My design style provides a clean and informative Show Board without the clutter of excessive photos. I can send samples of how I use photos and also how not to.
Do the signs come with a stand?
No, but I am currently working with a fabricator to supply high-quality steel sign stands that will be sturdy for outdoor use. I highly recommend that you avoid using the lightweight aluminum tripod stands available online. They are not designed for this application and the quality is very poor. They are adequate for an indoor show at best.
What is required to get started on my Car Sign?
Contact me by email, text, messenger or phone to let me know you're interested and I can answer any questions you may have. A $75 deposit is required to start design work. If you're a PayPal user I can email an invoice. For your protection I only use PayPal "Goods & Services". I can also accept Visa or MasterCard. You can then send list of details about your car and a few photos for color reference. If you forget something or are not sure what to include, I can offer
suggestions and will communicate throughout the process. Proofs are always provided for your approval.
What is the turnaround time?
2-3 weeks from order to delivery but if you have an upcoming show I can make it a priority to get your car sign done and delivered on time. Last-minute orders would be subject to an additional rush shipping charge depending on the type of delivery.
How do you ship?
Standard USPS shipping is included in your original sign price. If you prefer faster and more reliable Fedex, there is an addition $30 charge.
Do I need to supply my own design?
I do all of the design work, starting with the vehicle details provided by you. If your Show Sign will include history or narrative, editing and research are always included in my service.
What are the signs made of?
All materials used are premium grade and made for outdoor signage. The graphics are printed on a high-quality air-release vehicle wrap vinyl with a laminate layer added. Your choice of panels is either an aluminum composite panel with a solid aluminum frame, or a half inch polymer (plastic) panel with no frame. No cheap corrugated plastic or foam-core is used.
Can you ship car show signs outside of North America?
Yes but additional shipping costs need to be added. With past customers from Australia and Sweden they simply purchased the finished artwork file and passed it on to a local sign shop to complete the finished product using my recommendations for materials and print quality settings. This saves any shipping charges and eliminates wait time. You get your sign completely designed and a PDF file is sent to you by email.
Typical price for the design would be approximately $125 USD.
Is there a discount if I order more than one sign?
Yes, on an initial order there is a 10% discount on each additional sign.
What size options are there?
22 x 28 or 22 x 32 are the most common but they are also available in 12 x 18, 18 x 24, 20 x 26 or any other configuration you require. Custom Show Boards can be made in either a portrait or landscape configuration, or cut to shapes.
Panels can also be professionally painted to match your car with vinyl or hand painted lettering.
